History

For three generations, LE.MA has been working to shape ideas into reality; its specialists vaunt a wealth of different experiences, matured individually, and since 1983, combined under a single acronym.

Before the 1950s, sartorial ateliers were the sole producers of hand-crafted apparel and fashion clothing. The post-war era brought about a myriad of technological innovations, causing a great stir in the apparel sector: it was the start of the clothing manufacturing industry.

Just as it cultivated and enhanced its wealth of experience in the sartorial arts, LE.MA also adapted to the industry's evolution, keeping abreast of new clothing design and production techniques.
